Replacement gate remote controls

Gate remotes, whether “original” or “compatible” (sometimes called “copies”), differ in several important ways:
Original remotes are those produced by the gate automation manufacturer themselves (for example, Nice, Came, Hörmann, BFT, Beninca, FAAC, Life, Proget, and others).
Compatible remotes are made by other manufacturers but work with a specific brand’s gates because they are compatible—usually by copying the signal or using the same frequency system.

Original vs Compatible Gate Remotes
Origin and Manufacturer

Original remotes are those produced by the gate automation manufacturer themselves (for example, Sommer, Nice, Came, Hörmann, BFT, Beninca, and others). Compatible remotes are made by other manufacturers but work with a specific brand’s gates because they are compatible—usually by copying the signal or using the same frequency system.

Compatibility

Original remotes are always 100% compatible with the specific automation model. Compatible remotes may only work with certain models or even only with older versions. In some cases, they may not work at all if the automation uses encrypted 128-bit coding.

Additional Services

We offer optional remote duplication services and/or provide complete instructions so you can program a new remote control yourself, as well as training on pairing it with your automation system. Each channel/button costs just €5.

The price of a compatible remote is lower. If you're looking for a budget-friendly or temporary solution, a compatible remote can be a good choice. However, it's important to ensure that it is truly compatible with your gate automation system.
